Yoga for everyone and every type of body.  Beginners are welcome.  Student must be able to get up and down from the floor.  We use props (blankets, blocks and straps) to help fit the yoga poses to our own body.  Breathwork is used to move into and out of poses mindfully.  Breathwork is also used to release stress and to relax.  

Chair yoga is for students who are new to yoga; or may be recovering from an injury; or who do not want to or cannot get up and down from the floor.  We practice the yoga poses seated in a chair and some standing poses holding onto the chair, if the student wishes to stand.  

Using blankets, blocks, straps and bolsters for support allows the body to relax, muscles to release and the mind to calm.  Restorative yoga helps students to rest and relax, consciously releasing stress through breathwork while holding poses with support from props for 5 – 10 minutes.
